How Rustique Charm Boutique handles account, shopping, and notification information.

Information we collect

When you create or use a Rustique Charm account, we may collect information you provide such as your name and email address. Shopping and fulfillment workflows may process order, contact, shipping, and transaction-related information. If you enable push notifications, we store your notification preferences and a device push subscription identifier needed to deliver notifications.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, provide shopping and order functionality, support customers, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain the service, deliver transactional messages, and—only when you opt in—send the marketing notification categories you choose.

Payments and service providers

Payment processing and certain commerce functions are provided through Square. Rustique Charm does not need to store your full payment-card credentials in the app. The app and its data infrastructure are operated using Base44 and may rely on browser, device, hosting, security, and push-delivery services needed to provide the requested functionality.

Push notifications

Push notifications are optional. Promotional notifications are not required to use the app and are sent only after you explicitly enable them. You can change categories or turn push notifications off from your account settings or your device/browser settings.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only as needed to operate the app, process transactions, fulfill orders, provide customer support, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and applicable business or legal requirements. You can permanently delete your Rustique Charm app account from the Account page. Account profile and app-notification data are removed as part of that process. Completed transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting records may be retained where required or permitted by law.

Your choices

You may decline optional marketing notifications, change notification categories, revoke browser/device notification permission, or delete your account. You may also contact us about access, correction, or privacy questions.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections provided by the platforms and service providers used by the app. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
